Our God-given dreams are connected to our God-given purposes and what God loves. We struggle to find our destiny because we don’t pray for God-given dreams.

As we follow Jesus we must be people of prayer. Prayer is how we talk to God. If we want to pursue our God-given dreams we must be people of prayer.

We need to prepare for whatever the Lord has prepared for us. However it is not enough to just pray and prepare, we must pursue. We must step out and do whatever the Lord has in store for us.

We need to dream big dreams. For us to pursue our big dreams we have to pray. We have to think long, not only about our lives but our future lives and future generations.

God-given dreams are divinely connected to God-given purposes in our lives. God gives us dreams because he has a purpose for every single one of us.

God-given dreams are gateways to God-given destiny.

Philippians 3:10-11 says, “I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead.”

We should want to know about Christ. We should want to die in self so we can have Jesus bring us back and do the task that he has prepared for us to do.

We should not quit but press on and hold on to our one goal and that is to win the prize of heaven. Even if we fail we should not give up and let Satan make us think we can’t. Philippians 3:12-14, “Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead,  I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”
